A serendipitous stand location at Scotland’s Boat Show beside Fabulous Black, led to my collaboration with Eleanor, who, like me, was manning a stand by herself. As an exclusive lifestyle brand, they specialise in working with Scottish entrepreneurs and artisans to create limited edition collections of luxury designer gifts and accessories. As we chatted over the weekend we realised that we were a perfect fit for one another and I was delighted that Eleanor asked me to create a design for scarves, inspired by her iconic ‘gift of giving hands’ logo. The result was a range of cosy, extra-wide, merino lamb’s wool long cowls in four colour combinations, reflecting Fabulous Black’s signature neutral colour palette.
