Helix Too Chair • 2016

I was one of ten designers to win a place in the Craft Design House launch exhibition. Each maker was commissioned to create a specific piece of work for the launch that would then tour throughout Scotland. I had recently completed my HELIX design and adapted it to create HELIX TOO design in a felted wool fabric suitable for upholstery. I covered the chair back and seat in reverse colour proportion fabrics. The launch evening was a wonderful way to meet fellow designers from a range of disciplines and make connections for future collaborations with individual makers and Craft Design House.
